Battle Round 1 – Chaos Soup

Obliterators mow down one unit of Genestealers. Chaos Knight fails the charge after spending three Command Points to Full Tilt + Reroll.

The Chaos Gods are not impressed…

Battle Round 1 – Tyranids

Tyranids movement phase.

Chaos Knight denies the witch! Warp-Haunted Hull.

Tyranids Charge.

Nids shooting killed one Obliterator, two Chaos Space Marine squads, and nine Cultists.

Swarmlord deals sixteen (16) damage to the Knight. Genestealers do three damage.

End of Round 1.

Battle Round 2 – Chaos Soup

Chaos Round Two Movement.

Horrible turn for Chaos. The Gods are displeased. I rolled a lot of 1s. Even my 4″ away charges failed on snake eyes… Twice… and failed most charges everywhere.

The Knight killed the Swarmlord, and I gunned most of the Warriors down before charging (and failing).

Battle Round 2 – Tyranids

Broodlord killed a Greater Possessed in an epic showdown. Genestealers killed a Dark Apostle.

Tyranids go on a killing spree. Four Obliterators, Dark disciples, Chaos Knight, Greater Possessed slain.

Battle Round 3 – Chaos Soup

Chaos Round 3. I am spread thin. I charge into his Tyranid Prime and Neurothrope in hopes of consolidating into that damned Exocrine that has been wrecking me all game. I achieve this.

I also charge with the Cultists into his Hive Guard and Malanthrope to soak up Overwatch and get Objectives Secured onto the Objective the Malanthrope holds.

The Chaos Lord charges at the Hive Guard behind them with no worry of Overwatch gunning him down.

Mission achieved. The Oblit tries and fails to gun down the Broodlord.

Greater Possessed try their hardest to subdue the Exocrine, Malanthrope and Hive Guard.

Oblit and Master of Possession finish off the Bloodlord and Tyranid Prime.

Tyranids keep falling back and chipping away at the Chaos Forces.

Chaos does well on the last minute push to catch up but going into R6 the score remains too distant.

Tyranids win it.
