Tomas: Cassian Dracos is FINALLY done! Took forever to sculpt and forever to paint. There are three hidden baby firedrake lizards on the base, see if you can spot them 😛

Battle-Report.com: What do you use to shape the green stuff?

Tomas: Shape the green? Fingers and a pocket knife. And if someone wants a cast just ping me, I´m looking for custodes to trade for myself.

Battle-Report.com: What about painting? Citadel paints? Airbrush? Brush? Both?

Tomas: Citadel, vallejo, whatever I happen to have on the table. No airbrushing, just normal hand held brush. No fancy color pots either, its all done with a handful or colors, 8 or 9 or so, all mixed in with each other.

Battle-Report.com: How long did it take? Green stuff free styling + painting?

Tomas: The green took something like 50-70 hours. Painting about 30. To save some time and not just paint over a one-of-a-kind sculpt I cast up the dread a few times.

Battle-Report.com: The gold on the shoulder pads looks outstanding. Would you care to share how that was done?

Tomas: It´s all done at the moment with whatever colors I happen to have in front of me (mixing). Need to go through all the colors first as I have NO idea how I made that. Doombull yriel mournfang white (I think) – mix away.

Tomas: Next proj will be custodes and salamanders.
